Hi! I'm Michael Schade and I'm an eighteen-year-old entrepreneur and software engineer. I don't claim to focus on any one language (though I will admit to being quite partial to Python) because, as my fellow engineers will be quick to agree, it's never wise to force yourself into a position of using one language if another can do the job more efficiently and appropriately.
Keeping that bit of information in mind, I feel that it is evident that I consider myself to be quite open-minded. I work daily to extend this line of thinking beyond the work and programming world and have taken an interest in hobbyist and professional photography. current gear includes a Canon Digital Rebel XTi with an 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 and a 50mm f/1.8 prime. collection of various photography-related tidbits is ever-growing as I continue to experiment with various tools and techniques.
As always, if you have any questions for me or would just like to introduce yourself, feel free to contact me. I don't bite, honest. Just nibble.

- Why does Twitter's "Remember Me" not seem to *work*? Does it reject the cookie data for me logging in from another computer or what? 03:45 PM
- Preparing for presentation that I have been asked to give about QuestBridge and college admission for low-income, high-achieving students. 03:45 PM
- Stage one of new website launched. www.mschade.me - Feed data will likely be redone and retrieved either via Python (Django) or Haskell. 03:45 PM
- @sigfpe That's definitely a feature I could make use of! I also like that its search box suggests as you type. That's proven helpful. 03:45 PM
- I'm gathering that an idea, although perhaps beautiful in its pure form, becomes even more-so once done in Haskell. Just a thought. 03:45 PM
- @copumpkin It's going to be great. Not to mention, them porting the source engine means more games to come than the initial few. 03:45 PM
- Reading LYAH. Have a fun little math/science-based test project once I'm more familiar with the language. 03:45 PM
